As announced this morning, we are awaiting approval from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) regarding several important developments:
HSS ProService intends to establish a new commercial agreement with Speedy Hire, combining our strengths to deliver even greater value to colleagues, customers, and suppliers. As part of this proposed commercial agreement:
Speedy Hire will become a customer, shareholder and supplier for HSS ProService Marketplace.
It’s also proposed that HSS Training will also enter into a commercial agreement with Speedy’s training division.
The Hire Service Company (THSC) will begin a new chapter under new ownership. Once the CMA has approved, it’s proposed THSC will no longer be part of HSS Hire Group PLC and will operate independently.
Leadership remains unchanged:
Tom Shorten will continue as CEO of HSS ProService Marketplace
Mark Winfield will remain CEO of HSS Training
Jon Overman will remain CEO of HSS, The Hire Service Company
All very much continuing to drive the long-term vision for the businesses.
